fail

Right now I’m having a glass of wine at 11 am (Don’t worry, my hubby is here to watch my kid J.I.C.), because I have been on a roll of project ‘fails’ today. I know every day is not perfect, but today I fear that I am dangerous to the general well-being of my home. Needless to say, I think a glass of wine will calm my nerves, slow my actions so I think before plowing forward, and fix my progressively developing negative attitude.

Here’s a run down of things I’ve done: I’ve stabbed my finger with a needle (badly and deeply beneath the nail. Gangrene here I come.), shorted an electrical socket, broken a light (directly following installing it. ‘let there be light!’ *sparks fly*… ‘Oh crud.’), ruined the coffee (apparently a filter is necessary), and stained a pair of pants while trying to remove a stain (Yeah. Irony.)

So, that happened. And now this is happening…

About onaclaireday

I am a wife, a mother, a social worker, a writer, a crafter, and a seeker who is trying to blend all of my passions into one balanced life. Usually my path feels cloudy, but occasionally, on a clear day, 'getting it right' feels so close I can smell it. Here I'll write about that journey sharing about whatever strikes my fancy from good books I'm reading to interior design. Thanks for reading and sharing your journey too. - Claire
